I was able to attain the Versa 4 pack before this mess with hectic Covid-19. The very first thing that I thought about was, "where am I going to mount this?" Despite the obvious answer of "in the privacy of your own home". Ideally the best place is under the tank mounted to the cross beam. I had to dig through old photos to point out where I wanted it to go, but roughly right there
For those that aren't familiar with the lay of the land, I invite you to check out my build thread.
The challenge was that the the VXF4 has a button above each pump that may require access to if they needed to be primed or reset, simply mounting them to the beam would limit access to those buttons. That meant that it would need to be pulled out, no problem! I love this next part!!!
I turned to SolidWorks and designed a mount that will allow the quad pack to slide out when necessary and slide inwards to avoid getting dripped on by possible plashing from above.
Here's a shot of what it would look like when tucked away
And when it's pulled out
No reason for contrast, I simply printed them in white
I was so impressed that everything fit off the first try
The holes lined up perfectly and I was able to just use the provided screws that came with the quad pack
Even the button alignment was good
The 2 pieces mounted to the base station
The 2 glides were mounted to the beam
Slide the base station in
snap the versa's on
Access to the buttons
And tucked away

This is a 5 part component to cradle the vx1. Recommend to print at least 80% infill.
