Vertemid snails?

Can someone confirm if these are vertemid snails on my turbo snail?

Here is another look at some on the side...
 
They do look a bit like vermetid, but they should be on your rocks as well, unless you got that snail like that from you LAC.
 
haha - it was floating up and down like it was trying to attach itself to the shell so I was a bit concerned but thanks :)

The snail had a few white spots when we got him but it was a couple months ago... not on the rocks. Thanks!
 
You're all good then and you'll spot them on the rocks first. I inadvertently introduced them into my reef off a hammer coral. I don't really see them anymore though, think they feed off nutrients and I have a dwarf angelfish that probably eats them, so they don't bother me.
 
Spinoid worms. The send those hair like feeders out for food. Remove at the base as you would with vermetid snails.
