Vertex 150 has been overflowing for a week

Switched to Brightwell NeoMarine salt and did a 100% water change. I took this opportunity to clean the sump, and give the skimmer pump a vinegar soak. Airline is clean, closing the air intake on the venturi doesn't reduce bubble formation either.

It has been 8 days and my skimmer is still overflowing. Has anyone experienced this with NeoMarine?

I used NeoMarine years ago, but my skimmer stayed dialed in.

The only time my skimmer went wacko... ;Wacky was when used chemiclean or a bunch of coral putty.

Sense you gave your skimmer a vinegar soak, it may take awhile to build up another slime coating.

Usually after cleaning a skimmer, which removes the bio-film, it is some time before it starts making foam again. For some reason, I am having the exact opposite issue.

I had a similar problem until I found a dried tube of crazy glue in the bottom of my tank, new socks can cause the problem as well.
