Hello all Happy 4th
I'm thinking of putting this skimmer in my 75g
With 3 medium tangs and a few other small fish(3) with some lps/softy corals
Is this over kill or I can do part time skim

You can never over skim .... the skimmer is the heart of you're system so the bigger the better

I agree with that to a certain extent. I do not think that you can over skim if you are just skimming. If you are skimming and dosing vodka/vinegar No3Po4 - X you can strip your water too clean, but you cannot over skim if that is all you are doing.

That is a great skimmer, but I would not put it on a 75 gallon tank. I would put a Aqua Maxx S Co-1, Simplicity 120, Reef Dynamics INS 80, Ice Cap 120.
