So, as many people are aware Vertex no longer exists...

Just so happens that my booster pump has failed and is leaking around the seal now and I was wondering if anyone has had any insight into replacing this pump with another off the shelf pump or attempted to fix the leak in the pump itself. I really do not want to replace the whole RODI unit as it has soo many great features and options that I have yet to find in another system. We produce a ton of water with this system and REALLY like the way things are setup now. Any insight or opinions would be helpful OR if you have an old 200 GPD pump or system let me know and maybe we can work out a deal.

I bet an Aquatec booster pump would work fine as a replacement. (Bulk Reef Supply sells them but it looks like they are currently out of stock on the ones plumbed for 1/4" tubing.)

Hey I just found this thread searching for ways to adjust this exact pump since it seems like you cant!?
I have a 75 gpd brs rodi unit that I got as part of a used aquarium package. I'm just getting started in this hobby and I am just installing the pump after having bought it last fall on clearance. I had been testing my RODI unit and thinking I only had 30psi, and having watched all the BRS videos I knew that booster pump was what I needed. However after installing the pump and fiddling with the rodi filter some more I discovered the flush valve / flow restrictor for the first time. Turns out the reason I only had 30psi was because I had the flush valve open and pressure wasnt building up. When I closed the flush valve my pressure shot up to 60, which is perfect for a 75gpd unit. But if I decide to turn the pump on my pressure gauge shoots way past 100psi. And so it looks like I dont actually need a booster pump, but I figured since I have it might aswell use it! So which leads me to my original question, can I turn this thing down in any way to get closer to 80psi. And if not which I think is the correct answer here, sucks for me but I could maybe sell it to you if you are interested.
