Vertex Alpha 200 or Reef Octopus Regal 250INT

If you have had both or use the Regal, which would you choose? I have the Alpha 200 already, but looking at getting the Regal.

Is the Alpha 200 very finicky? BRS's reviews say it's extremely hard to get set properly or the pump is mismatched with the skimmer. Do you have that experience?

If the water level is correct then it is a great skimmer. Built like a tank so I am gonna just keep it. Every skimmer has its set of issues, but one for sure about the Vertex definitely isn't build quality.
