None whatsoever - it has always performed flawlessly. I have to sell it because I had to replace my sump and it didn't fit in the new one.

What water level is this good for? My sump has a higher water level.

Per the manual, recommended height is 9"-10" but states that the adjustable inlet nozzle on the pump "is designed to offer a small degree of variation to this height while maintaining optimal performance"

If your water level is higher than that, you can put a base under the skimmer body to adjust the height
