Vertex Alpha 200 vs Reef Octopus Regal 200INT

Trying to choose between the two skimmers for my new 140 gallon tank setup with 35 gallon sump(175 total). This is a Red Sea reefer 650 Peninsula tank. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions for skimmers as I have been waiting for Black Friday to buy all the different items I need.

I have the RO220 INT on my 255 and it does a really good job.

Do you have the elite or regal? It’s basically a $50 difference between the two with the Elite having a one piece super cone body and the regal having a hybrid cone body.

Going with the Reef Octopus 200 elite, I like the skimmer cup overflow sensor.
