Vertex Alpha 250 skimmer

I am buildind a new system and chose the Vertex Alpha 250 for the skimmer. I was wondering what water level you guys are running with skimmer. I have a complex sump to build, and knowing what water level for the skimmer chamber will help tremendously. Please chime in on what your running, J

When I had my alpha 250 it ran best at 9 inches of water.

Remember the actual water level tends to run a bit higher than your baffle in your sump.

Yes my baffe was less then 9 inches. I measured the water line.
