Does anyone use them? How do they compare to other Bio Pellets out there?

I think the majority here on R2R are using the Warner Ecobak pellets.....Warner is or was a sponsor here.......No experience with vertex though.

yes they do all work the same but there are differances in the compisition of the Ecobak.....It is a differant polymer then the others, which seems to beable to remove and reduce Phosphates more then the others.....Vertex just came out so there might not be many users.

I just added some to my brs reactor. Its made in the usa also the pellets are small making them easy to tumble. Just start with small amount.

i am using vertex pro bio pellets for about 16 days now and the water clarity is great the phosphates and nitrates are reading zero so far so good have no complaints, great product

I'll be addind some to my system today. Had them soaking overnight per instructions. They remind me of pasta.

Been out of the swing of things, are these Bio Pellets a substitute for GFO ??

Do the pellets work better than GFO at reducing Phosphates ???

I guess I should do some more reading on how these pellets work.....
