Good afternoon guy,

Quick question, Is this the right skimmate color or is it too light? The container has two days worth of skimmate.

I’ve notice the color depends on what’s going on in the tank. The wetness or dryness can be adjusted and looks like you are running more wet.

Here a pick after 4, maybe 5, days for me. I intentionally want the minimum water coming out of my system so I keep it set that way.

Sorry to hijak, but do your skimmers make a fairly obnoxious humming noise? My 150 is so loud I only run it at night.

My vertex is pretty quiet, if I open the stand door and put my ear near it I can hear it. So if yours is that loud it's not normal. To the op I think your skim color is fine. Some run theirs really dry and some really wet, I run mine where the cup needs to be emptied every 4 days or so.
