Vertex Omega 180i experience?

I have been researching the Vertex Omega 180i and NYOS 160 non-stop, yet I cannot find many with the Vertex skimmer. Anyone have this skimmer and feel they can give me some input?

Having a hard time deciding between the two and need to decide already as it is driving me crazy hhahaha. This OCD is really getting the best of me!

try lifereef skimmer, there will be no more overflow. i used both vertex and nyos they just nothing compare to lifereef

It's either Vertex or NYOS

I've got the 180i and love it. I also added the neck cleaner and have the skimmer cup draining into a bucket. I only have to clean the cup / neck each time I empty the bucket. Right now I'm skimming in between a dry and wet skim. It does take a little tinkering to get it dialed in. This is my 2nd vertex. I had the 130 on my previous tank.

I have the Vertex 180i, picked it up during the BRS Black Friday sale. Awesome skimmer, been pulling out gunk since I hooked it up. Very easy to adjust and has been a set it and forget it skimmer for me. It replaced a Reef Octopus which had random unexplained overflows.

Highly recommended. I'm using it on a 93 Cube fyi
