Vertex Omega skimmer help

All of the sudden my skimmer is no longer filling up to the top. It only fills about 2 inches above the water line and looks like its struggling to do so? I almost thought the pump was broken but I've removed it and cleaned it out. It did this a few days ago and a restart fixed the issue. I've tried that again but no luck. Any ideas?

Clog the air tube and see if water is being pushed up. If not it’s a pump issue. Otherwise the airline. I’ve had this happen on a previous skimmer and a good cleaning of the pump fixed it.
