Hi All,

I use to have my Vertex plumped into a sicce 1.0 that fed my carbon & gfo reactor and never had issues with air being trapped in this reactor because I could run it wide open and it would clear in a few minutes if it ever did happen.

Now, I added a Kamoer FX-STP pump to get a consistent flow rate and I can't seem to get the air out of the reactor. Before, I can run it wide open and it would clear the air, but with the kamoer and 120ml/min max flow, it seems like it's not enough flow to clear it.

Any suggestions or inputs? This loud gurgling noise is driving me insane.

You can always pop the line at the top of the reactor to purge the air. I feed mine off my manifold with a steady high flow drip back into my sump and adjust the ph with a controller to vary the output. my air bubbles from the co2 tank isnt as important t that way and the air(co2) wont get trapped bc its moving at a higher rate.
