Looks like there is a swinging deal on the Vertex V6 pumps right now...

I was on the verge of picking up a couple Vectra M1s but now I'm hesitating,

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I looked at the vertex amongst others, but ultimately went with the Vectra. I like the controllability since I'm using it on a closed loop. Also the relatively modest head pressure on the vertex made me question how well it would do even as a return pump. Fluval sea pumps are worth looking at.

I’m having a hard time finding any charts on flow at certain heights, so I’m a bit worried about that.
Although, I only need around 700-800gph at about 4 1/2 feet of head, so I’m hoping this will work and be quieter than my Sicce 1900 (that is dialed back considerably)
Essentially this pump would be pulling water from my sump to a refugium directly overhead but all the water goes through my Lifereef Skimmer.
I’ll have to figure out how to add a photo so you can see my application and see what you think.
Thank you.
