Vertex Zeolith Reactor - Bubbles

Is it normal to have air bubbles coming from the water output of the 1.5l Vertex zeolite reactor?

How new is the reactor? It takes a while for the bubbles to clear if it is new.

Brand new. Seems odd there is an air gap in the top of the reactor and air comes out the output pipe.

Mine does the same thing...comes and goes
