I’d like to see R2R and ReefBuilders write an article on Vertex, and not from the corporate point of view, but from the community/end user point of view.

There's a couple other threads - basically they finally shipped a few units of the new cerebra controller but the closed support forum for beta testers and slack channel both went off line suddenly a few days ago with no explanation. People have reportedly tried messaging through various channels as well as calling with no success. Some other people have noted that many vertex items are out of stock at various online retailers. All this has lead to speculation that they have gone under but there has been no announcement or any sort of official word from Vertex, so it's all just speculation at this point.
