Hello
I was wondering if someone could help me pic one as i dont know the difference between them. This will be my first time working with LEDs. I would like dimmable but their are three different choices. What would you recommend and what color scheme should I go with. That ks for your time and help.
Retrofit kits - Nano Kits - BioCube 14 - Rapid LED

Dimmable - all LEDs on one channel, must solder wires to build
Dimmable two drivers - LEDs on two channels (so you can dim whites and blues separately), must solder wires to build
Dimmable Solderless - all LEDs on one channel, wires snap together instead of soldering
Dimmable two drivers solderless - LEDs on two channels, wires snap together insdead of soldering

go with the 2 driver dimmable kit, you can fine tune your blue to white ratio to get a better look and better control of your lighting...

if you're good at soldering (and it's really not that hard), save a few bucks and get that kit, if you want it as easy as possible and less likely to make a mistake, go with the solderless kit...

* Driver Type:

  • 0-10V Nano Dimmable Driver w/ Potentiometer
  • ELN-60-27D (1-10V Analog)
  • ELN-60-27P (PWM)
the driver type selected will depend on whether you have a controller or not, if you do not have a controller, select the top selection with the potentiometers

if you run an Apex or similar controller and want ramping up and down of your lights via the controller, select 2 or 3 depending on your controllers ability
