I felt compelled to make this post, because, unfortunately, I feel that Live Aquaria's quality standards have really dropped off as of late. This week, I have received 2 corals for them that both arrived in horrible condition. The first one was an aquacultured pink pocillapora. It arrived within 24 hours, however there were no heat packs in the packaging and the bag felt stone cold to the touch. The coral arrived completely bleached. It is just starting to regain some coloration now after several days. I also ordered a "bushy Aussie" large acropora frag in their November WYSIWYG deals. This one arrived an entire day late and was also bleached. I didn't even know it had arrived a day late until they sent me an email A WHOLE DAY LATER after from them that the shipment was delayed, and instructing me to double the acclimation time. Anyway, I am extremely disappointed as I spent almost $300 on these corals combined. Should I submit a claim with them now?

This seems to be a common theme from them these days.

Also I don’t think we can say anything negative about any vendor on this site. The moderators will come and make up some excuse and delete everyone’s messages and lock up the thread. It happened with a thread critiquing BRS and one for marine collectors. Or it might just be for companies that sponsor R2R?!
I'm sorry but I have paid thousands of dollars with their company for over 10 years, since they were originally Dr's. Foster & Smith. As such I feel that I deserve some right to give them some criticism where it is due. I am not slandering the company.
