Well for me anyways...:p

Around 5 weeks ago after going through a 76 day fallow period (which felt like an eternity) I quarantined and added 6 Lyretail Anthias as my first new additions.

Last night my wife says "somethings wrong with one of the Anthias" so I run over to see what's up but to my delight nothing was wrong at all and it turns out that one of em is turning male, and quickly I might add.

Sorry for the phone pics but the first picture is from last night and second pic is from today. Hard to tell from the pics but he's quite a bit "purplier" than yesterday.

Thanks for looking!

I feel your pain on the fallow period, I have 22 days left on mine. Can't wait to get fish back in the tank.

Awesome Ick leaves a mark! Anthias look great as does your purple tang

Thank you! Love the constant open water swimming of the Anthias. That's the first purple tang I've ever owned and it's by far my favorite, couldn't imagine having a tank without one now!

Yea it's slow and painful but we'll worth the wait. It's a great feeling to have healthy parasite free fish.

This time I did TTM and included 2 rounds of prazipro. Won't make the mistake of adding unquarantined fish again that's for sure.
