Very flat worm/algae/growth?

Hi reef2reef fam. Any idea what this is? I’ve seen a couple over the last week and just manually removed them. Referring to sort of wishbone shaped flat “growth” on top of cerith.

I am pretty convinced of this as well. It’s a brown macroalgae genus with smaller, highly invasive species (which is a shame, as they feature a gorgeous, blue iridescence) and larger, less invasive species. Mithrax crabs, urchins, and Abalones should be able to consume it.

Thanks guys appreciate the responses. It isn’t yet a problem in the tank but I’ll keep an eye on it. Just wasn’t sure what I was looking at at all . If it comes back in more force perhaps I’ll revisit.
