Very high light corals?

I think it is high light but some of you might not. But I am looking for something to put on a rock that is about 3 inches from the surface and about 4 or 5 inches above that is a 150W HQI MH. So 7 to 8 inches from the light. What could I put there?

This might sound weird but I had my Purple Deaths very close to the surface on 250 MH they liked it, but they turn brown in color.

Right now I am running a AquaMaxx 14K. I will be changing it in about 3 months to either an XM 15K or Ushio 14K.

Any digi I have has a completely different and brighter color up high in my tank. I set one on my return nozzle and it is actually growing out of the water. It has way deeper colors than a frag of the same mid tank.

from my experience with my 150w 12k you should be able to keep about anything that close to the light. zoa's and acros especially. my lights are only 4 in above the water line and the zoa's have grown about out of the water. as long as the corals are acclimated to your lights they can do fine.

My wife's Nucelar green paly's love it high in the tank. They are about 7 inches from a 250 watt MH, and are huge and show great color.

Unless it's a top down tank, I personally wouldn't put any acros up there since they won't have much room to grow and likely wouldn't look good from the front.
I'd put a high light monti(superman, sunset, rainbow etc...) as long as it's a rock you can pull if it starts spreading too much. They like high light and flow and look nice from the front.
