Help – Very high Nitrates and Phosphates

70.2 Waterbox with exceedingly high No3 & Po4. Tank was started 10/2019, cycled in about a week, and then began what has been a tried everything, ongoing battle to control (lower) these readings. 80 ppm No3 (70 at its minimum) and .22 Po4 with a 9:1 dilution. We have tried water changes (15 – 20 gallons), PhosGuard, Xport-Po4, and most recently Algae Management by Red Sea. I have built a Cheato Reactor which seems to be working correctly. I am unsure about what else to do, suggestions appreciated. Thanks,

First I would make sure you have reliable test kits, have a lfs or friend test your tank. If it checks out then 50% water changes and run that cheato reactor 18/6 your tank should level out. ALso monitor how much feeding your doing, don't over do it, cut back if needed. Anything dying that could be contributing to the high N/P?

Cheato with a nice powerful light works for me. you can kinda dial in the light intensity/schedule for optimal nutrient load
