Very loud gfo reactor?

Recently installed this media reactor and was fine up until a few days ago. It’s not coming from the pump it’s self. I had to put a valve on the hose to control the flow and was fine and now the sound it to noisy. I have to shut it off at night type of noisy

When I open the valve open it will stop but the gfo flow will go crazy. The noise is coming from the reactor top side. Anyone run into this issue? Thanks

Sounds like somehow air is getting into it. I would first replace the valve.
