They need screw in LED's:)

I fixed most of the LEDs. One was slightly shorted and the rest of them on that line were dim. I had to change out 3 of them and I still have a couple more to change when I get time. The fixture is 5' long and a pain to turn over to solder in new LEDs. It is also not conductive to remove it completely from the tank to work on in my workshop because of all the wires coming from it. Besides the three LED circuits, it also has 2 fans and it is just so much easier to solder it right on the tank.
I will re design an entirely new fixture probably in the winter. Maybe during a snow storm.

She would look skinny. I have to go and look for her again.

Super cool u really should try to raise them next time. I used to put my prego sexy shrimp in a2 gal tank a couple days before she'd let them go much easier to collect the fry then just put her back into main tank. If your successful you'd probably be able to make a nice little profit lots of people would love to buy tank raised and bred Mandarins including me!

It is not hard to raise mandarins but yiou need them in a seperate tank as I could never catch any fry in my 100 gallon reef and I could not even catch the parents.
All of my paired fish spawn but I don't raise any of them any more as I just don't have the time.
