Very sad day for Holmes-Farleys

Had to take our 17 year old beagle (Fran) to the vet this morning for euthanasia. Long downward spiral, followed by not eating or drinking the past couple of days.

I know how many reefers also have dogs. perhaps folks can post photo's of their happy dogs to make this a cheerier day. :)

This is a picture of her (left) and another beagle we had for many years (Jake) on the right taken years ago as they sunbathed on our back patio.

So sorry to hear here are my 2 Boston terriers! It is heartbreaking when they have to cross the rainbow bridge

So sorry about your loss. Here are several of my boys.

My old man Brodie around five years ago give or take. He's currently 13 and enjoying retirement from Search and Rescue (Retired in 2020 due to a knee injury)

A more recent "old" photo (probably 2019ish) doing one of his favorite things.

Don't mind my summer ravaged lawn, but here's one with the old man and the puppy, Fletcher - he's 2 as of October 26.

Fletcher doing some SAR practice over the summer - He'd just picked up the air scent here.

And one from last year when he was about to turn 1, lamenting his lost octopus.

Sorry to hear that , I know that feeling all to well and it dang sure leaves a void in everyday life with them being in a major part of your life. I had mine cremated and he sits next to the TV now.

IMG_2358.jpeg Just saw this post. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Here is my pack.

Randy I’m so sorry for your loss. We got a senior Beagle at 9.5 years old many years ago, who also kept going until just over 17! Him and my current minpin -mix were parters in crime - and our Beagle’s senior stomach always paid the price, while the young minpin had no repercussions lol

My Beagle used to bay so loud at me when I got home that my insides would shake… I hope your celebrating the happy times now … these are the hardest experiences…

Now i will break the internet uploading copious amounts of dog photos…
