Very scary!!

The other night we came home from dinner to find that our plumbing in the attic burst. It came all the way to the bottom level in the kitchen just missing the fish tank and the printer. Whew! Now it's time for some messy repairs. We had all the plumbing replaced and now it's on to the drywall. Lucky fishes.

Plumbing in the attic? I've never heard of that before. Glad the tank is safe though.

Yeah, the plumbing goes through the attic and between the upstairs and downstairs in the ceiling. It's that polybutylene pipe. Yuck! When we came home there was a big bubble in the ceiling and it was dripping in those two spots just missing the important stuff. We have towels laid over the tank while we're working on it.
