Very strange

Today I found a half eaten dead fish. The problem, is that I am not missing any fish nor I have added anything it quite some time

It's a fish ... looks like it might have been a dottyback, or perhaps a firefish. Slender-bodied, with fairly long-based, but not high, median fins.

Do you have a sea cucumber?
This is a long shot but maybe it is one of this fish that lives in a sea cucumbers butt. They only come out at night.

Definitely a fish. Looks a lot like a sand burying wrasse.

With the shape of the body with the splines on top and bottom, it resembles a blenny. Like a lawnmower blenny.

X2 which would explain why you didn't see it for awhile. Did you buy any wrasse in the past few months? Add sand? Rock?
