I’m trying to identify what these are. There’s two different things that have appeared, so I’m trying to find out if I should remove them now when they are sparse or leave them be. One looks like a tiny white fuzz, a distinct array of little arms around in a circle, no bigger than a large copepod. The next is a string of something with little tube like things coming off it every mm or so. Looks kind of like a spider web string that stuck to a surface. Any help would be appreciated!

The first thing you describe is the hydroid jellyfish. They are pretty typical in new-ish tanks and seem to go away on their own.
Second thing you describe, I also have. They're colonies of some sort, couldn't tell you the name.

Both things you can just scrape off if you want. Neither are harmful or something to worry about IMO.

Good deal. It is a new tank, less than 2 months old. As long as they aren’t bad for the system I will leave them be...
