So have had this pseudo and today was the acclimation and transfer to DT day. Current DT fish are Skunk Clown, Green Chromi and a nickel sized Six line Wrasse. My routine is this, lights all off, feed current fish to distract them, added pseudo, keep lights off for 24 hrs. My problem is this, once the food was gone, the Sixline went looking for what he sensed as a new tank mate. Tracked down the Psuedo and started trouble. Messed up thing is that my Wrasse is LOSING. He goes up to the psuedo and bumps him and then the psuedo goes all pitbull cage fighter on my wrasse. I now can't catch either one of the fish without destroying my reef, suggestions???? I am so upset :( first time I've been unsuccessful in new additions :(

This has to be the first time I've heard of a sixline getting picked on lol. You should try a fish trap if that doesn't work grab a net and try to be patient. Good luck

Take a net, set it in the water so you can easily grab it. Take a small amount of food, drop it near where the net is placed when the fish come to eat you may be able to net one or both of them while they are focused on eating. If not, fish trap might be the next option.

sorry to hear. maybe just let them be. less stress. than trying to catch them. I had a six line that killed every thing I added to the tank. I had to tear most of my rock work out to catch it.

Thanks for the advice, even in the dark I can see the bruising and irritation from the Psudeo's attacks on the Sixline's belly :( I guess Spartacus the Sixline isn't gonna earn his name lol ;)

Good luck with catching the fish!!! I have a very aggressive bicolor pseudo. It tortures anything I try to add to the tank. :(

Eventually your six line will stop messing with the pseudo and all will be good.

If not, then sparticus will be leaving the tank on a stretcher.

Finally both have moved to night time mode and have found spots on opposite ends of the tank. Poor Sparty's stomach looks pretty bad, never had fish attack each other like this. Anything you guys recommend to help Sparty heal up? Thanks everyone :)
