Viaaqua 300w titanium heater issue

I purchased this heater and it's having issues maintaining desired temp. I have it set to 79, it can and will achieve 79 but allows the tank to cool to 77-78 before it will kick on again.

Wondering if anyone else got the new model and having same issue or is it even an issue?

I've read one other similar case and wanted to see what people here had to say

It's been running for 3 days and I had to add a 200w heater to maintain 79.

Replacement on the way.

The replacement heater acts the same way...maybe it's designed that way possibly?
