Vibrant and Hair Algae

I’ve just recently started to dose with Vibrant to address Hair Algae or what I think is HairAlgae. First dose was last Thursday. Second dose today. The plan is to dose every three days (eg twice a week). In the system I also run Rowaphos and an internal filter.

Currently Phosphates are 0.02 0.03 (Red Sea Test Kit ) I can’t get them any lower even with Rowaphos

I did the same thing as you and after about three weeks, my corals started getting unhappy. I would start with the Vibrant at only once a week for a couple of weeks and then increase the dosage if you aren't seeing results.

Update: tank still looking ok. Brushed off the Hair Algae in one area and so far not come back. In another it has had no impact where I haven’t brushed it off. Listened to the advice and only dosing once per week. LPS and SPS still ok.
