Vibrant - chaeto

I just finished dosing vibrant. It did a really good job removing bubble algae...and decimated my volleyball sized colony of chaeto in my fuge.

I would like to add chaeto back into my system now that I am done dosing vibrant (about 2 weeks ago).

Thoughts?

I’m looking forward to the answer to this question because I was just wondering the same thing 10 minutes ago.

How long did it take for you bubble algae to die off and what was your dosing schedule? I just started Vibrant 2 weeks ago to control some bubble algae. I removed my Chaeto and have it living in a bucket for the next several weeks. I was planning on putting it back in 2 weeks after the last dose.

Bubble algae didnt start to die off until about 3 weeks into dosing. I was having my doubts, but after week 3 it started to die off fairly aggressively, turning white ect. I dosed pretty much per instructions, 1ml per 10g (all at once), weekly. I used about 80% of the bottle, which took around 5 weeks total. 99% of the bubble algae has died off, I had a pretty bad breakout. My system is roughly 170g.

Wish I had moved my chaeto as well..
