Vibrant pushing algae to sandbed?

Have any of you noticed Vibrant working great on your live rock, but causing a massive hair algae outbreak in your sand bed?

I get Vibrant is a bacteria that outcompete for space, eatingvthe algae, and I get that most of our bacteria is housed in our live rock... but I have not heard this before...

I'm literally looking for a tiny salt water safe underwater mower!
