Hey R2R Peeps, I would like to know if any of you have used Vibrant by Underwater Creations. I would like to know your experience. I have been battling Cyano, Hair Algae, Briopsis, and Bubble Algae. I have been told that dosing vibrant will combat these issues, I dosed the first ounce yesterday and it appears to be attacking the cyano I am seeing the white dusting that I would see with Chemiclean. I have also seen a greater production in Skimmate.
Thanks in advance

I have used it.

I had some green turf algae and bubble algae. Unfortunately got it when I introduced some LR from another tank.

It worked well, it got rid of both. I would definitely use it again.

Make sure you use the 'FOR REEF AQUARIUM' version if you have a reef. There is one for reefs and one for fish only with love rock.

SOME people have noticed that after using Vibrant, they got an outbreak of cyano. Not sure if it is the caught or now; I did not get any problems whatsoever so from my personal experience, I would recommend it.

Vibrant and chemiclean both worked for me. I used them together. But then I wanted a cleaner solution. I stopped using them and algae bloom came to visit. Added green killing machine and I can’t see my water with blues off.

It didn't work for me, but Chemipure did help. It wasn't an easy cure all, but it helped.

I know this is a borderline unbelievable. I want to start with some back round. I had a big cyan bacteria problem. My tank way 18 months old. Phosphates and Nitrates tested at '0". I could not get it to go away.I had tried a three day blackout. I had tried Chemiclean. Nothing worked. I was to the point where I was considering quitting because I was just so frustrated. That being said I honestly thought I was wasting money buying Vibrant. I have included two photos. They were taken just short of three months apart. I wash I had a photo from three weeks ago, but take you will have to take my word for it. The cyano was basically the same as in the photo. It may have been worse because it started to cover rock and was stressing out my corals. I had been doing my normal 8 to 9 gallon weekly water changes. After each water change it would look great then the cyan would come back.

Three weeks ago I decided to try Vibrant with hopes it would help me fight a bubble algae issue. I did 3 water changes 7 days apart. After each water change I added 5.5ml of Vibrant. My last water change was 2 days ago. That cyano is gone. This is odd because other people say the get Cyano using Vibrant. I am also manually removing the bubble algae during each water change. I have not seen any new growth of bubble algae and I have found some of the bubble algae seems to come off the rock very easy now. Some does not so I am leaving that alone in hopes It will come off next week.

I have no idea what is in Vibrant but my livestock seem happy and the cyan is gone and my bubble algae is improving. I am very happy with the results. I will continue weekly changes and vibrant dosing until the bubble algae is gone. I will also continue to update this page on the progress. Hope this helps. I also hope my tank continues to improve. PS I know I need to get rid of some of the green hammer. lol......

My bubble algae with the first thing to go up in smoke from vibrant. Word of caution while it works great follow the directions and don’t over dose for a long period of time. The cyano bloom I had was awful but treated with two round of chemiclean.
