Happy quarantine to everyone! Curious about my 4 month old tank . Been battling brown algae that is for the most part under control. Now finding a hard green algae on glass ( biocube 32 gal.) That my soft magnetic scraper does not touch. I've been looking into vibrant and all its magical claims. Is my tank to new to use such a product? Any thought would be helpful thanks all!

I would get a Santa Monica Drop algae filter to do the job. Problem with liquid is that you are covering up. Let nature help you.

going thru same issue with what I believe is diatoms on sand bed and brown algae on glass like I clean it almost daily. All of a sudden appeared. Water parameters pretty good well according to api master reef test kit and saltwater test kit. Very low nitrates and phosphates. Picked up some Red Sea NO3 -PO4-X but nervous to use it as I’ve read online if over dose can wipe tank out. Thinking I’m gonna try Vibrant instead but also read gotta be careful dosing that stuff as well. I’m new to reefing (set up a used RSM 130D back in October) SOOO much to learn and read up on its crazy but I love it I’m not gonna give up!

Let me know what works for you, I also do weekly watch changes .

I started dosing Vibrant one week after my tank cycled. I dose the recommended amount weekly. My tank is about 4 months old and I have never seen any algae.

I have had good luck using it on some tanks....and I have had it wipe out other tanks due to nutrients crashing. Just have to be careful and watch nutrients while it is being used.
