during the "ugly phase", can you use.. or better yet, would it be wise to use vibrant to help with the ugly phase in starting a new aquarium.?
 
Imo it’s better to let the tank naturally balance out. If you do decide to use chems, just get algaefix as it’s cheaper and may be the same thing. I personally would not and have not used chems. Just get some clean up crew.

Best advise I can give You is do a search on vibrant on this forum…if you don’t know by now,even all over social media, vibrant is not bacteria and is algeacide so I would not touch it
