Vibration dampening - Silicone hose

I've been trying to find a vibration solution for my plumbing. Does anyone know if this silicone material in the attached web link would be saltwater safe ? Temp and pressure are ok, I'm just not sure of material make up. My plumbing is 2" so its been a challege to find any 2" silicon like we normally use on smaller pump applications.

I’d assume if it’s just silicon it should be alright. Could reach out to the company and see what they say about what it’s made of.

McMaster sells this stuff but it is spendy. It is for sure reef safe. The Vibrant Performance stuff is automotive grade which still may be safe, and much cheaper but this stuff is for reef safe for sure and has a good PSI rating.

Ordered 2 feet on its way will fix my long term issue with my pumps right on the other side of the master bedroom wall

It is very high quality and the absolute right tool for deleting pump vibration.

Call up Summit Racing or Jegs. Tell them what ID you are looking for. Intercoolers and radiators use silicone hose in most applications. A lot of different ID's.

Good solution but watch out for the pressure rating (35 PSI). Be careful about using it where it might get clogged downstream of the pump, or where a valve might get closed downstream of the pump. When pressurized like that it can bulge and burst pretty easily in that situation (speaking from a very messy past experience with a homebrew setup).

I am going to try this again. I have a piece of that MCMaster Carr tubing still. I tried it last March and I can't remember why I ended up not using it (maybe, it did not dampen the sound enough??). I thought it blew off the barbed fitting, but, when I looked at the pictures I took, what blew off was a different softer tubing from BRS.

How bout that! Plumbed it in last night and the vibration is gone. Just like in the picture earlier in this thread. I don't know why I did not end up using it on the previous pump?? Just saved 4 grand on getting an abyzz pump!
