thought id do an update on the tank.
I had a really bad outbreak on the tank of red cyno.
ive battled cyno before and always beat it.
this time I fought it for sometime ,longer than a month.this is the worse ive ever had to battle.
ive changed my saltmix to reefcrystals .
I love redsea coral pro, used it for ever but im wondering if the salt was the culprit due to the natural salt,,who knows.
also the availability of redsea salts in Canada really sucks.
any how I beat the red cyno with ultralife red slime remover ,it took 4 days to clear the slime.
ive always been against this product but it really does work.

im currently using reefcrystals and liking it .the only thing im not liking is my alk dropping.well finaly there is a LFS that's getting me the normal red sea salt so im gonna try one week reef crystals and another week redsea salt regular.i think the combination of both will bring different trace elements.
ive never done this before ,but I think its a good experiment
