If you dose this stuff will it feed the cyano bacteria if present?
 
It might spur the cyano (as can all forms of organic carbon dosing), or it might make it decrease.

It's a complicated question based on whether the cyano species you have is suited to readily consume acetate in the water, and what else in the tank consumes the acetate as well as other nutrients that the cyano needs.

The only way to really find out is to try it. :)
 
I had a big outbreak browns reds and greens so I stoped zeostart and now hair algae has grown in
 
You could start GFO to get rid of the phosphates.
 
I run all in one pellets I can't read phosphate on my test kit
 
So then do you also recommend I use GFO then. I used ultra life red slime remover and turkey blasted it off the rocks it is no longer a problem. I now have a certain specie of moss algae growing. I have algae x on hand and am getting ready to use it. Do you recommend I use it
