I am having some nitrate problems and I have done some reading and found that people dose vinegar and vodka to help lower there nitrates. I am looking for some general information about this topic. I also would like to hear from you guys and get your opinions on if this really works, and any adverse affects that it might have. Finally I would like to know how much to add and when, and which to use. Feel free to leave a link to any good articles you have on these topics. Thanks

I've been vinegar dosing for maybe 4 months now. It can improve colors, and lower nitrates. Just need to be careful and go slow, dose the minimum for the first week or two. A simple google search will give you lots of articles on the subject. I noticed I had to clean my class a lot less as well.
