I usually use Heinz white distilled vinegar 5% that’s clear white to dose my tank

I recently got a Whole Foods vinegar that’s labeled as white distilled vinegar 5% but it’s noticeably yellow. Doesn’t say anything about being flavored.

was wondering why the difference in color and if the yellow Whole Foods vinegar was safe to use?

Usually cider vinegar has the yellow tint to it.
If its unpasturized it could start growing the bacteria that was its mother. Like a bread dough starter.
Usually if its white its clear at our stores

That’s what I thought too - doesn’t say cider vinegar anywhere on the bottle, just white distilled. Weird
