Vinegar in reef tank

SO i decided to reset my tank due to aiptasia..... i bleached all the rock and drained the tank... i filled tank and sump up with tap water and 1 gallon of vinegar circulating through the tank and plumbing.. total water volume is 250....

how long should i leave the vinegar in the tank and sump to make sure everything is dead. Also want to make sure the vinegar doesnt mess with the seams (been reading too much lately....)

I can't be certain if it will kill every aiptasia that might be down in deep crevices, but I'd leave it at least 24 h.
