I have a used Reefer 250 I purchased that's currently in the process of cleaning and testing. I've been running it in the garage for 2 days with water & distilled vinegar (9:1 ratio). Looks fantastic now. I just drained it and sopped up the last 1/4 inch of water that the python couldn't get out of the DT and sump as well. I'm planning to refill it with regular water, run for 24 hours, drain, sop up remaining water with a towel as I did the 1st round and let it dry completely.

My question is this. How important is it to actually take the tank into the yard and try to prop it up and spray it out with a hose? That seems like it's going to be very difficult and risks breaking the tank tipping it on it's side to empty it. With the 2nd rinse with clean water in mind, once it's dry, is it ok to just call it a day, fill with RODI / Salt and get started? I've heard vinegar is sometimes even dosed and won't hurt anything in small amounts but it still makes me nervous as I don't want to start out on the wrong foot. This is our first ever saltwater tank so looking for advice on this after Googling for the last few days to find the answer! haha. I may be over thinking it.

Not a problem. As you said we dose Vinegar as part of carbon dosing to reduce nitrates and phosphates in the hobby so a little leftover Vinegar is not going to cause an issue. Bacteria will quickly take care of it.
