Vinyl rap

Has anyone ever vinyl rap their entire tank stand? I want to customize the stand and thinking that a vinyl rap would work best. Thoughts?

The entire stand? This seems like a lot of work with a high potential for errors like creases and bad seams. How about just the "big" flat areas and paint the rest.

Thought about painting but don't want the brush strokes. I've done entire cars and appliances before but never a tank stand.

You can add Floetrol to the paint to reduce brush strokes. I use it all the time and it works great. Also roll the larger surfaces with a small sponge roller.
