Hey everyone!

I’m setting up my first reef tank and bought a used Aquatop 40g AIO that came with the viparspectra light. I have it mounted on an HMS Rail about 12” above the water surface.
With that being said, I don’t know the first thing about channel settings and was wondering if anybody had any tips on what number to set Channel 1 and 2 at for best luck with starter corals (thinking mostly LPS and softies).

I know this may be a topic with a lot of variables, but I thought I’d ask to see if anyone had set something like this before.

Thanks everyone!

So a number of years back, I had VSs on my 137g peninsula and they worked great. They definitely have the ability to throw out a lot of light!!! I set mine to the 60% to 70% range and the blue vs white color to my personal liking. Good luck and enjoy!
