I need to lower it on one side about an inch. pushing the button on the wire equipment easily allowed me to raise it. but i cant figure out how to lower it. Anyone know how to lower the
VIPARSPECTRA Timer Control Dimmable T300 31x8x2-1/2

push the retaining collar inside the metal sleeve that the wire goes through. Should slide easily then.

It don't. doing that will let me raise it but not lower. either its faulty, or im not pushing it up enough

sometimes pinching the cable with your hand while pushing the collar down with your thumb helps. it's a little tricky sometimes. Have to take the weight of so it will slide right. Also make sure set screw is backed out enough to let it slide.

OK.. thanks. I got it to lower. had to loosing the screw a good bit. then it cam right down.. thanks again
