Vipaspectra lighting?

I have 3 of them along with 2 Kessils over 150 gal tank. Coral is growing and they seem to be doing fine. Once you read the instructions on setting them it's a snap to adjust if need be. The kessils give me a shimmer in the water and the Vipars provide plenty of light. I did tons of research on the lights before I bought them and I'm not disappointed. Just couldn't see spending a ton of cash for other high market lighting. If you search the light on R2R and web you will find plenty of info on setting them and performance write ups.

I had 2 on my first mixed 90 gallon mixed reef tank . Strong light .My whites did not get above 20% strength
You can’t bet them for the price point if you do not want all the bells and whistles on your lights
I grew pretty much anything . Acros, sps, lps, etc

Anyone using Vipaspectra LEDS for their reef tanks? What are your experiences with them?
This one Reefer in my area uses one on his frag system and loves it! He has Orphek’s on his display and says the Vipaspectra pit out good par but wishes they where a little stronger. But he’s growing every acro/sps/lps/softies with no problems! I’m thinking of trying one

Three of them, mixed with two halos for blend.
Grows anything, the quietest fan I have ever heard, had to actually check it was working, these are 4.5 years old now, run as new. 38592587-70FC-43B6-843B-16D12204358F.jpeg

They put out high par and grow anything. They make things look washed out and are cheaply made. Basically sums it up. Cheap light that will grow any coral. I had 2 of them before.

I use one 165w on my 29gal. So far so happy but it’s a pretty new tank but definitely getting growth. Hopefully gonna get to borrow a par meter in the next couple weeks to find the perfect setting for me as it’s all a guessing game and seeing how my corals are reacting

I ran mine at 20 white 60 blue

I’ve read a lot of that big viparspectra thread and everyone has their own preferences and I have a mixed reef so it’s difficult lol. I know someone who runs their vipar on 100% blue and 0 white and swears that he gets crazy growth

That would be around 700 par underneath

I was always under the assumption from other threads that corals need white to truly thrive and blue just makes it look good cuz of the color pop. I personally prefer a more natural and white looking tank. Right now I have blues at 55 and whites 35
