So I bought a viper light from a fish store that was going out of business years ago.
Now that I have a 75 gallon tank. Do you think I could attach it to the tank and use it on one side of the tank?
The mount doesn't seem really strong but workable.

Any thoughts??

I am only going to use this in addition to the T5 lights.

Well the thing is, if you put it on one side you will have trouble matching the same color with the t5. You could put the light In the center so that it has kind of a spot light in the center and then have the t5 run the length of the tank

It's hard to put in the center because the plastic goes right across the middle. It the piece that holds the glass lids.

Is it the 150 or 250 watt?
