Virgate vs Doliatus Rabbitfish

Is the only difference between these two fish the coloration? I have a major Dictoya algea problem and need something that is going to chew down on this stuff. I have been having problems finding a Doliatus as it doesn't seem like they sold anymore.

Gosh, to me it looks like a really similar fish. Fishbase says they even hybridize in certain areas.

Yup, lol. Why would 1 eat dictoya and not the other.
